HALLOWEEN 2008

Year of the Efelant!

This year I wanted to be an efelant for Halloween. So, Ya-Ya made another fabulous outfit for me to go trick-or-treatering (Yes, I went up to the first couple of houses saying trick-or-treater until I caught on the Mommy & Daddy were telling me to say trick-or-treat)

Me & Neefy

Me & Kenna

Two of Ya-ya's fabulous costume creations

For the past 2 years we have gone to my friends Neefy and Makenna's house to go trick-or-treating. Mommy kept taking pictures of us so it took forever to leave the house.

We're finely off to our first house and we even got the regular size candy bars @ this house...WOW!

Kenna should have been a devil! She ended up breaking her way through a couple of wrapper before we noticed!

After a big night trick-or-treating and a pizza dinner, Neefy and I enjoy a little movie while our Mommies and Daddies enjoy a glass of wine.

PUMPKIN FUN!

Mommy and I had some punktim fun! I picked these punktims out to be carved and Mommy made it happen. I helped get the seeds out (played with them) and I helped push on parts.

When asked which one was my favorite I said the ant...

and the caterpillar...

and the cat...

and the words...

and the bear and the honey pot!!!
I was consistent each time. Either I listed them all off or I pointed and said, "That one, and that one, and that one....." I had a hard time making up my mind!

My Halloween Party

How CUTE is this Gnome! He won the best costume award hands down...He sealed the deal when he grabbed the mini jug!

Spooky Spider

Savoring some spooky treats

Some of the Spooky Treats-Moon & Bat cake, Mummy & Monster cupcakes, Monster and Ghost Marshmallows on a stick, and Bat cookies on a Spooky Scene!

Outside on Oct 29th and not cold!
Kind of unheard of in these parts but...
here we are playing on the deck!

Last, but not least...the SPOOKY Witch and the up to the minute Electoral Vote status!

1ST DAY OF SCHOOL

Walking into school with my Big Girl backpack and lunch pail.

Off she goes...all by herself. She was so excited she didn't even look back!

Daddy's Doo-Day

It's official! Daddy is old. We sure did have fun celebrating his B-Day though thanks to Ya-ya who covered cooking dinner and the B-Day Cake. Thanks Ya-ya!

This cake is yummy and easy. Bake a white cake, and frost with vanilla frosting. Put it in the fridge to chill until the frosting is firm. Melt 4 squares of Baker's Chocolate Square's (unsweetened...in the orange and brown box) and poor over the top. Super yummy and easy!

Chopping wood with Daddy

Well...helping Daddy clean up the bark after chopping our fire wood for winter.

Fall from Grace

I really did a number on my face when I fell off of my friends front porch concrete steps. And of course, it was a couple of days before my first day of school!

My Mommy is a DORK!

One Saturday morning we made rainbow pancakes!

A little fun with the Gyde's

THE GANG

Ever year we get to see some part of B's Highschool Buddy and his family (see fishin'g with Ann and Jim). This year we got to see the whole crew...woo hoo! It was a great chance for the kids to play and for us to catch up with the much loved crew.

My buddy-making sure I don't fall :)

BOWING BUBBLES
A.K.A: Blowing a few bubbles and then accidentally spilling the rest on the ground.

My favorite part...Grammy and Jim Pops giving me ice-cream.
