Happy Doo-Day Dad!

For Daddy's Doo-Day we biked from Heyburn State Park to Harrison for some sandwiches and ice-cream. I had TONS of fun in my bike trailer. I was talking the whole time except for when I fell asleep on the way back to Heyburn. The total trip was 16 miles rounds trip.

We pulled for the Library Book Brigade

We're getting a new Library! Today we were in a parade to help bring 2nd hand books to the new location. I decorated the wagon like The Water Hole, one of Natalie's FAVORITE BOOKS! We were the 8 ladies and gentlebugs meeting by the water hole. Bzui! At the end there was a reception and Clifford was there! Natalie had to show off her wings to Clifford after she warmed up to him, of course.

The County Fair

We went to the fair on Thursday and saw lots of animals, watched Dirt Bike Races and Mutton Bustin'!

Mutton Bustin' is 2-6 yr olds holding on for dear life as they lay on the back of a sheep, holding onto the gruff of it's neck as it charges and sometimes bucks out of the gate...lot's of tears shed. You will want to click in the picture that has the back of Nat's head for a closer view of Mutton Bustin'. Natalie has decided she doesn't want to bust a Mutton, but is into the dirt biking. She told us it was her favorite as we were driving home.

We took Natalie to a stocked pond in Mullan. She was seconds away from catching her first fish. Next time....

She loves to Garden!

Music Class

Natalie and I have been attending a music class that one of the Moms holds at her house. Natalie is quite the singer now and will bust out signing. She even makes up her own songs. We love Abby (shown in black shirt).

Mommy & Daddy's Big Girl

We are amazed at how old our little girl is lookin
g these days!

Visitors

We've had a lot of visitors this summer. Ya-Ya has been checking on the house. Dad and Tee-Na-Na came to visit on Dad's B-day and Mimi and Papa made it out for a week long visit.

Swimming

We have been lucky to be invited to swim at another mom's community pool almost every week. Natalie is a natural and after the 3rd time decided she wanted to float in the middle of the pool on a noodle by herself. Were working on kicking, scooping and blowing bubbles. It's pretty cute when she says, "Haf blow bubbulls."

4th of July

Natalie had a great time riding in the wagon with Ethan while participating in the 4th of July Kids Parade held on July 3rd. Shown above is Natalie watching the 2 hour 4th of July Heroes Parade down Sherman Ave...2 HOURS!
