A few of my favorites...

The picture says it all. Kind of kills us to publish this one, but seriously...how could we not?

I just love climbing in my toy trunk (Mommy's hopeless
chest) and playing with my toys!

Tucking the boy in for the night.

Feeding my kitty (Mom found the water
bowl up on the bed too!). Turtle is very attentive to the needs of the pets. She ALWAYS frees our dog from his Kennel (the laundry room)

Tea Party

I went to a Valentine's Tea Party and had tea, heart shaped cheese
sandwiches, a mini heart shaped scone, fruit and a mini cupcake.
I had soooooo much fun.
Here I'm just sippin' on some tea and shootin' the breeze with my friend.

Mommy cuts my bangs!

My Mommy should have stopped after this snip, but my bangs were uneven. She thought it would be a good idea to get them wet and then try to even my bangs out.
WRONG! Luckily bangs grow quick.

Daddy get's up on the roof!?!

We were a little worried about the roof caving in with a bunch of wet snow up there and possible rain in the forecast (I was more worried about Daddy up there) so Daddy shoveled the roof. He said it was waist high in the area where the 2 roof lines meet. The weather has warmed up a little and given us a much needed break/partial thaw. Check out those ice dams (a.k.a. all those icicles that you don't really want to see forming off your gutters).

Digging a path to Ya-Ya's (The dig that put Mommy's's back out of commission)

Let's go Shubal (shovel)!

Look for the shovel handle above. It is stuck in the snow maybe a 1/2"
When I stand the shovel next to me it hits my chin!

As always Turtle had a great time in the snow. She was quite proud of herself when she climbed the snow to the left of her. She then got cold from the wind and said, "Ohhh...I cold. It's cooooold on the highest hill!"

A ride up the Congagola (Gondola)

The highlight of Turtle's winter so far was riding up the Ski Mtn. Gondola. She got to go to camp and Mommy and Daddy got in their BEST day of the season do far. Everybody say, "POWDER!!!"

THE MOST SNOW EVER!

Yep...it's still snowing. It's an epic and record year for snow accumulation. I think we're at 130". Madness! We've missed a few good days on the Mtn because of our road and being snowed in. This past storm we missed out due to high winds :( Luckily, we've gotten a few really awesome powder days.

The favorite past time around here is shoveling snow which we have done for the last 4 out of 5 days. Daddy was up on the roof a couple of days ago worried about the wet snow up there already with rain in the forecast. I'll post some pics soon so you all can see the accumulation. Now we're hoping for a slow warm-up so there is no flooding. All the drains in town are covered with 4-6 ft of snow!

Turtle sure does have fun when we out shoveling. She will try to climb the highest mountain looking for magic sticks and will keep at it until she gets to the top. It's kind of a bummer when she gets to the top and realizes that they are all covered with snow. One day it took her 15-20 minutes to get to the top, but she made it and then had to basically swim because there was so much snow. She's a trooper. She face planted a few times and I thought that was going to end the snow play, but I waited for her reaction. Each time she would sputter a little, wipe her face off, look at me and say, "I'm OK, I'm OK".
Mom climbed up to help her after 5 or 10 minutes and brought her down falling through the snow on the way down. It was deep.

Today while I was shoveling, Turtle decided to take a little break after she had shoveled a little and climbed the highest hill to suck on one of the hundreds of icicles we have on our gutters and eves. I wish I would have snapped a photo because it was pretty precious to see her all bundled up in her snow suit, hat and gloves, happy as a clam licking an icicle.
